MOTO Development Group har testat kapacativa touchskärmar och då är såklart alla höjdartelefoner med. Av testet framgår att iPhone är absolut bäst förutom i hörntest där Google Nexus One överklassar både iPhone och Motorola Droid.

08 Jan 10 Android nyheter från CES 2010

Sådär då har vi sett lite grann av vad tillverkarna presenterat i Android-väg på CES hittills. Vi kommer uppdatera detta inlägg successivt i takt med att nyheterna ökar.

Dell har presenterat en form av ”slate” dvs. större handhållen enhet. Enligt Engadget ska namnet ”Streak” ha nämnts i ett faktablad vid presentationen.

Företaget Compal demonstrerade en ”slate” utan namn dock med NVIDIA’s nya processor Tegra och med Android som operativsystem. Enligt bilderna och videon vi tagit del av finns det sim-kortsplats och microSD-plats. Tyvärr verkar dom ha missat GPS och Bluetooth däremot finns det en HDMI-utgång. Skärmen lider dock redan av sjukdomar då den använder sig av en såkallad resistiv pekskärm istället för en kapacitiv skärm. Däremot gör Tegra sitt jobb, precis som sig bör, och presenterar en fantastisk bildkvalité via HDMI-utgången.

LG presenterade bland annat GT540 som ska vara en jämnlike med HTC Smart dvs. en smartphone i en enkel telefons förpackning. En slags instegsmodell i smartphone-världen med ett snyggt yttre för att locka även individer som föredrar design före funktion. Android 2.0 blåser inte iväg användaren rent hastighetsmässigt men för en budget-design-Android fungerar den tillfredställande. Designen är det som LG trycker lite hårdare på dock.

Inbrics presenterade M1 en tunn snygg telefon med ett utskjutbart tangentbord. Förhandsvisningen visade inte på ett överdrivet utbrett gränssnitt men enligt Inbrics så jobbar dom för fullt för att lansera telefonen.
